As a design competition the proposed new club facilities enabled the focus of how to successfully bring the traditions of the club together with the changing needs and appeal of a wider demographic. The inviting form accommodates all of the traditional activities of the bowls club with the interests of the young. By utilising the methods of prefabricated construction we were able to provide a solution that economically worked with the least amount of disruption to the activities of the club.
